My name is Ken Bleakley and I've been the pastor of Larbert Baptist Church since 2003.
Originally a businessman from Belfast, N.Ireland, I have been active in the Lord's service for many years, but it wasn't until relatively recently that I answered His call to full-time ministry. I sold my business, went back to Bible College in 2000 and accepted the call to work in Larbert shortly after graduating. This meant a huge change for my wife and family who moved to Scotland with me. I am married to Patricia and we have four children - Louise, Ian, David and Andrew. I was ordained in November 2003 and count it a real privilege to serve the people of Larbert in this way. As a Church we are experiencing the Lord's blessing as we grow numerically and spiritually. My ongoing prayer is that God would continue to work through us in a way that will make an eternal difference in people's lives. There is no greater calling nor challenge to be found than that given by the Lord to His people; "Go therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you" (Matt. 28:19 & 20).
